I am a costume designer for the year 11 production House On Fire. Before we even chose a play I knew I wanted to be a costume designer, I am very interested in and passionate about fashion and felt this was a very fitting role for my skill set. I have had so much fun in the process of designing, fitting and sourcing costumes and materials along with my co-costume designer Flick. I have worked hard to ensure all characters' costumes are as close to our collective visions as possible while still being comfortable for all our amazing actors.
I play the character of Natalie, a girl who is handling the stress of schoolwork, HSC and most importantly, her boyfriend breaking up with her. Natalie is a very emotional character, her boyfriend Cameron breaking up with her has completely enveloped her in heartbreak. Her friends Michaela and Petra attempt to console her but she can’t seem to think of anything but Cameron which usually reduces her to tears.
